Community consultation for Proposed Safety Initiatives for Percy St Portland Between Tyers street and Wade Street has now concluded. We will keep you informed about the project when funding has been sought.

The Local Port of Portland Bay, Safety and Environmental Management Plan (SEMP) is attached in the Document Library section on this page and the Local Port are encouraging the Community and Stakeholders to provide feedback with regards to improving all safety and environmental considerations.

The SEMP, prepared under section 6A of the Port Management Act 1995 (Victoria), provides the basis and direction for Safety and Environmental Management within the Local Port of Portland Bay.

The Management Plan promotes improvements in safety and environmental compliance and performance across all aspects of Local Port activities and supports management of related issues arising from Local Port activities and operations for the benefit of employees, Local Port users and the wider community.
