Join the conversation, Your Say Glenelg

Welcome to Council's online community engagement hub, where you can join the conversation and "Have Your Say". Use the Register button to sign up and receive notifications when new projects are listed, project updates are added and when feedback is open.

Use the menu at the top of this page to view projects and pages where you can stay informed and join the conversation.

The "Home" page features a search tool where you can enter a key word or tag to search for projects. You can also do this using the "View All Projects" option in the menu tab. This will include past and present projects that are either published or archived.

On the Home page you will also see the "Currently Seeking Feedback" section, where projects with open engagement or consultation are listed and you can jump in and join the conversation and have Your Say.

The "Projects in Progress" section includes projects that still have the wheels in motion, consultation may have recently closed but project updates will still be added.

Then we have our "Always Open" section. These are projects where you can always join the conversation and stay informed, they include our Community Newsletter page and the Online Listening Post page.

Project Pages

Each project page will have an option to "Subscribe" to the project. This is a great way to make sure you are contacted by your registered email in relation to the project. For example when an update is added, or to let you know of the engagement outcomes.

Most projects will have a section that includes key dates, FAQs, Important Links, Documents, Photo library and a Who's Listening section. This allows us to provide information at the click of a button without overloading the page with words.

Project updates will appear in a sperate section on the project page and will include the date that the update was added. This provides transparency to you to see the staged progress of the project without the main body of the page being edited.
