Council is currently preparing tender documentation for the stage 2 of the Portland North pathway.

The pathway will be from Noel Street, Maretimo through to Cavendish Street providing pedestrian access from the Maretimo Estate, via Sea View and Blue Water Estates. The path consists of a 2.5metre wide asphalt surface, with a smaller section of new concrete footpath linking to existing footpaths.

The path will link with the newly constructed pathway, which runs from the Portland North Cemetery through to the Hanlon Parade and Learmonth Street roundabout.

Thank you to all those that took the time to provide feedback. More than 500 people engaged with the project. Construction is expected to begin in early 2024, register as a user on Your Say Glenelg via the Signup Banner for project updates.
