Citizen of the Year is awarded to a Shire resident aged over 26 at the time of nomination, who has made an outstanding contribution to the Shire community.
Senior Citizen of the Year is awarded to a Shire resident aged 55 or over at the time of nomination, who has made an outstanding contribution to the Shire community.
Youth Citizen of the Year is awarded to a Shire resident aged under 25 at the time of nomination who has made an outstanding contribution to the Shire community.
Community Group of the Year is awarded to an organised community group based in the Glenelg Shire which has made a significant contribution and provided exceptional service to the local community.
Volunteer of the Year is awarded to a Shire resident, recognising an outstanding volunteer contribution to the overall betterment of the Shire.
Diversity and Inclusion Award is awarded to a Shire resident or community group, recognising a significant contribution in changing community attitudes or advocating for the rights of all people regardless of age, gender, ability, diversity or background
Arts and Culture Award recognises artists, creatives or cultural leaders who have contributed to and championed the development of a thriving, creative, diverse and inclusive community within the Glenelg Shire.
Outstanding Achievement Award recognises an individual Shire resident who has made a substantial impact within the community.
