Tourism festival, event, attraction or service nomination form 2025

All nominee's must be based within the Glenelg Shire. All entries must have been operating for a period of 12 months or more up until March 1, 2025. All entries must be solvent. Previous winners of a Glenelg Shire Business & Tourism Award category are not eligible to re- enter the same category for one award periods. Entrants are able to self nominate. Entrants can be nominated by a member of the community. Nominations must be made on the official form (one nomination per form). Nominations may be made by an individual or organisation. Entrants can submit more than one nomination from the same organisation for multiple categories - maximum of 3 entries in total. Responses must be no longer than 250 words. All nomination information and materials submitted remain the property of the Glenelg Shire Council. All entries must be received no later than 5.00pm on Friday 27 June 2025.

Nominations must be submitted by 5:00pm Friday 27 June 2025. Once you have submitted your form electronically, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive the confirmation email your submission may not have been received successfully. In this instance please contact event organiser listed below.

Once nominations have closed, all submissions will be forwarded to an independent panel of industry experts who will review all nominations to determine two finalists for each category. Shortlisted finalists will be notified by a Glenelg Shire Council officer and judges will visit each finalist during July to perform interviews and mentoring sessions.

The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into in respect of that decision. Award winners will be officially announced at the Gala Awards evening on Friday 15 August 2025.
