Categories for this years awards are:
Citizen of the Year
Senior Citizen of the Year
Youth Citizen of the Year
Community Group of the Year
Volunteer of the Year
Diversity and Inclusion Award
Arts and Culture Award
Outstanding Achievement Award
Nominate community groups and individuals that provide outstanding contribution to our Shire. Contribution can be in any field including education, health, fundraising, charitable and voluntary services, sport, arts, environment, or any other area that contributes to the advancement and well-being of a community. Full eligibility criteria is available in the survey.
Nominations can be submitted online via the nomination form below. Hard copies are available from the Portland and Casterton Customer Service Offices, Portland Library and Nelson Visitor Information Centre.
Awards recipients will be contacted and officially presented with the awards in late May 2024.
Nominations close 5pm Friday 19 April 2024, any nominations received after this date will form part of 2025 awards program.
