Consultation has concluded

The Council and Wellbeing Plan 2025-2029 was endorsed at the September 2025 Council meeting.

The Council and Wellbeing Plan 2025-2029 sets out the strategic direction and priorities of Council for the next four years, ensuring that Council’s work is aligned with the needs and aspirations of the community.

The Draft Plan is built around six key themes and has been shaped through an extensive six-week community consultation and engagement process that aimed to gather a wide range of perspectives on Glenelg’s strengths, challenges, priorities, and future aspirations, with a strong focus on health and wellbeing, the environment, the economy, and governance.

To support the Plan, there is a suite of documents demonstrating how we embedded community voice in to the Plan. You can download these from the documents tab on this page.

You can view the Council and Wellbeing Plan, view the annual action plans and read the half year progress reports on Councils Website.
