The Draft Council and Wellbeing Plan 2025-2029 is now available to view and provide feedback. The public exhibition period was endorsed at the July Council meeting for a period of 28 days from 23 July to 20 August 2025.

The Council and Wellbeing Plan 2025-2029 sets out the strategic direction and priorities of Council for the next four years, ensuring that Council’s work is aligned with the needs and aspirations of the community.

The Draft Plan is built around six key themes and has been shaped through an extensive six-week community consultation and engagement process that aimed to gather a wide range of perspectives on Glenelg’s strengths, challenges, priorities, and future aspirations, with a strong focus on health and wellbeing, the environment, the economy, and governance.

To support the Plan, we have developed a suite of documents for transparency in demonstrating how we embedded community voice in to the Plan. You can download these from the documents tab on this page.

The final adjustments are being made to the Plan following the four week public exhibition period and will be presented to Council at a future meeting in conjunction with the Year 1 Action Plan.
