Project Background

The proposed redevelopment of the Portland Foreshore precinct seeks to improve management, accessibility and introduce a recreational and tourism experiences along the Portland Foreshore between Nuns Beach and the Portland Youth Activity Space.

This decision has allowed Council to engage with community at a level fit for purpose on individual projects, whilst better aligning our projects to future available funding opportunities.

The consultation has now concluded for all parts of the foreshore redevelopment.
