Phase 1 complete!
We are excited to announce the completion of Phase 1 of the Casterton Railway Precinct Activation project!
Works delivered in this stage include:
- Upgraded pathways, featuring all-abilities accessible pathway from Wathen Street
- New picnic tables and bollards
- Repainted rotunda with seating modification for wheelchair access
- Essential drainage improvements
Next up: Phase 2!
This phase will see the installation of brand-new inclusive playground equipment, designed with input from you, community to help ensure fun, accessibility, and connection for families of all ages and abilities.
Works are anticipated to commence from 20 October 2025 with completion expected by end of November 2025, weather permitting.
Please note: Playground access will be closed during Phase 2 works. We kindly ask everyone to take care around the site while construction is underway.
