DRAFT Glenelg Shire Council Budget 2022/2023

At its meeting on 26 April 2022, Council resolved that the Draft Budget 2022/2023 ('the Draft Budget') presented to that meeting be prepared and advertised in accordance with Council’s Community Engagement Policy.

Copies of the Draft Budget are available for inspection from 29 April to 1 June 2022 at Council’s website www.glenelg.vic.gov.au or any of the Customer Service Centres:

• Portland Customer Service Centre, 56 Percy Street Portland,
• Casterton Customer Service Centre, 67 Henty Street Casterton; or
• Heywood Customer Service Centre, 77 Edgar Street Heywood.

Any person proposing to make a written submission on the Draft Budget may do so before 5.00pm on Wednesday 1 June 2022, submissions are now closed.  Budget submissions can be completed online via the YourSay Glenelg website or alternatively, budget submissions can be submitted via post ensure that it includes your Name, Address and advise if you are would like to have your submission heard, to be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, PO Box 152, Portland or hand delivered to 56 Percy Street Portland. Council will hear submissions on the Draft Budget at a meeting to be held at 6.00pm on Tuesday 14 June 2022 in the Civic Hall Supper Room, 30 Bentinck Street, Portland.

Adoption of the Draft Budget (either with or without modification), will take place during the Council Meeting scheduled for 7.00pm on Tuesday 28 June 2022 in the Civic Hall Supper Room, 30 Bentinck Street, Portland.
