Purpose

The online Listening Post is an engagement tool that enables deliberative engagement by providing an informal and authentic opportunity for community to exchange information, feedback, ideas, and concerns.

Face to Face Listening Posts are scheduled for the 2023 - 2024 financial year - confirmed locations will be listed in the Key Dates Section on this page and also be communicated via print and social media.

Additional Listening Post Sessions may also be used as a tool for community engagement under the IAP2’s Public Participation Spectrum for all current projects.

Have "Your Say" by using the ‘Online Submission tool below. If you would like to comment on a specific project please return to the home page and provide feedback via the direct project tag.

We may be in contact with you to discuss your comments in more details, particularly as relevant projects arise. This may mean that we collate your feedback and use it as the basis of a community plan or the development of a priority list of new development works for the shire.
