Why is the tree being removed, and will it be replaced?
The tree sits directly within the new roundabout footprint. It cannot be safely retained without compromising the safety and functionality of the upgraded intersection (see works design). Replacement planting will occur in accordance with Council's Urban Tree Policy, using new native trees to support long‑term canopy growth.
