Active Your Way Glenelg News Bulletin 13 December 2024 - Play Your Way article

Alexandra Park was abuzz with junior sport as part of our 'Play Your Way' Come and Try event held on Tuesday 26 November 2024.

Thanks to funding received from the Australian Sports Commission under the Play Well Participation grant program, grade 3 and 4 students from across Portland, Narrawong, Bolwarra and Heywood were able try out soccer, hockey, netball, cricket and AFL football.

Thank you to all the local sporting groups, state sporting associations and various volunteers who provided activities on the day and ensured that the event was a huge success! The ‘Play Your Way’ project aims to increase participation by offering assistance to students to register and participate for FREE* in one of the sports offered at the Come and Try event.
