DRAFT Glenelg Shire Council Budget 2023/2024

At its meeting on 26 April 2023, Council resolved that the Draft Budget 2023/2024 ('the Draft Budget') presented to that meeting be prepared and advertised in accordance with Council’s Community Engagement Policy.

Copies of the Draft Budget are available for inspection from 28 April to 26 May 2023 at Council’s website www.glenelg.vic.gov.au or any of the Customer Service Centres:

  • Portland Customer Service Centre, 56 Percy Street Portland,
  • Casterton Customer Service Centre, 67 Henty Street Casterton; or
  • Heywood Customer Service Centre, 77 Edgar Street Heywood.

Any person proposing to make a written submission on the Draft Budget may do so before 5.00pm on Friday 26 May 2023.

Budget submissions can be completed online via the YourSay Glenelg website, submitted via email, post or hand delivered to any Customer Service Centre. Submissions are to be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, PO Box 152, Portland 3305. Emailed submissions are to be sent to Chief Finance Officer, Lauren Easson. leasson@glenelg.vic.gov.au.

Please ensure all correspondence includes your Name, Address and contact Phone Number or email address. If you would like to have your submission heard in person please specify this in writing.

Council will hear submissions on the Draft Budget at a meeting to be held at 6.00pm on Tuesday 13 June 2023 in the Council Chambers, Cliff Street Street, Portland.

Adoption of the Draft Budget (either with or without modification), will take place during the Council Meeting scheduled for 7.00pm on Tuesday 27 June 2023 in the Council Chambers, Cliff Street, Portland.
