Welcome to the Glenelg Shire 2040 plan development.

There are many ways to have your say

Community Advisory Group

Join one of three community advisory groups (Portland, Casterton, Heywood) help to shape the process and help to develop the community vision and Glenelg 2040 Community Plan. Residents living outside of these nominated towns are invited to join the group closest to home. Each group will meet five times and will consist of 25 residents per group.

Come along to a series of events and pop up activities that will be hosted across the whole of Glenelg Shire between December to March 2020.

  • We’re looking for 75 people who are passionate about making a difference in their community. You will work alongside Council, your fellow network members and the community to help shape the development of Glenelg 2040 Vision and Community Plan. 

    There are three Community Reference Groups that will meet in Portland, Casterton and Heywood. Residents living outside of these areas are eligible to nominate for a position and invited to select the most convenient location to them. Each group will consist of 25 members and will meet for a total of five meetings.
