Glenelg Shire Council’s draft Long Term Financial Plan is now on public exhibition, and we invite all community members to review the document and provide feedback. This important plan outlines how Council will responsibly manage its financial resources over the next decade to deliver on the goals of the Council and Wellbeing Plan and support a thriving Glenelg, now and into the future.
Developed using the community engagement outcomes from the 2025-2029 Council and Wellbeing Plan, the Long Term Financial Plan reflects the aspirations of our Community Vision while ensuring long-term financial sustainability.
The plan also identifies the key influences, risks, and assumptions impacting Council’s financial direction, and includes clear performance projections across key financial indicators. It serves as both a roadmap and a monitoring tool allowing us to adapt as circumstances change while staying on course.
We encourage everyone to take a look and share their thoughts during the exhibition period. Your feedback will help shape a stronger, more sustainable future for the Glenelg Shire.
