Thank you to those who took the time to provide a submission on the proposed Strathdownie Drainage Scheme Special Charge.

At the close of the public submission period, a total of three responses were received. One submission was in favour of the proposal, one was a general comment on rates in general and not specific to the special charge, and one sought further information on the benefit to the affected properties, which has since been responded to.

Council considered all submissions at the recent Council meeting held on the 24 June 2025 and resolved to proceed with the declaration of a special charge, totalling $16,000, for the 2025-2026 financial year as proposed.
